When approaching Avignon from the North or the South off the A7 Motorway take exit 23 - Avignon Nord. At the peage, take the first turning right on to the fast road towards Carpentras (D942). Take the next turning off towards Vedene.

This is the D6 which you follow straight on all the way, through the towns of Vedene, then St Saturnin, then towards Chateauneuf-de-Gadagne. Approx 10 minutes. Before you reach Chateauneuf-de-Gadagne there is a big turning off to your left which is marked Les Taillades. Take this turn.

Follow the road around various s-bends, over a little bridge, over a speed bump (about 1km) and the house is on your right hand side. It has a long exterior wall and two gates. Park outside the white set of gates and ring the buzzer.

 The journey should take approx 15 minutes from the peage at the most, depending on traffic etc. There are many different ways of getting to the house and there is quite a network of small roads and villages. So if you do take a wrong turning it can be difficult to get back your bearings. Directions from Nimes Airport

 Follow Toutes Directions out of the airport to the peage. Take the right hand motorway exit towards Nimes and Lyon. Continue about 5 minutes and take the right hand exit, which bears right again towards Lyon and Avignon. Continue about 20 minutes on this motorway (A9) until you cross the river and see the exit for Avignon (Junction 23). Come off at this peage.

Turn right at the first roundabout after the peage, going up the hill. Follow this road straight on all the way into Avignon (about 15 minutes) As you cross over the large river (La Rhone) stay in the right hand lane, following signs for "Toutes Directions" but where the road splits, stay to the right following signs saying "Centre Historique". Take the left split in the road so you end up with the river on your left and the wall of the city on your right.

 Follow signs again for Toutes Directions, going under a bridge in the right hand lane, following the road around, but then turn left to follow the signs for Carpentras. The river should still be on your left side. Keep following signs for Carpentras, staying in the right hand lane, around the city wall. Do not go through the wall into the city. After a couple of minutes, you will go under a small tunnel and come out going along the River. This is the D942. Follow this fast road all the way until you go past the large shopping complex with a big Auchon supermarket (approx 5 minutes). Just after the supermarket, take the exit signed for Vedene. Then follow final instructions to the house as directed above.
